Refund Policy

USA Sky PDF is a digital service operated by AstraSkyAI FZE LLC. This page explains when refunds are available and when they are not. We aim to be straightforward — no fine print designed to trip you up.

1. Default position: no refunds after activation

We do not issue refunds for digital subscriptions once they have been activated. This is standard practice across browser-based browser-based PDF services — all operate the same way). Once you have used a Pro feature, the service has been delivered.

Before subscribing, please try the free tier so you know what you are paying for. Most tools work without a Pro plan; Pro mainly removes watermarks and ads.

2. Exceptions where refunds are issued

The following exceptions apply regardless of where you live:

2.1 Duplicate charge

If you were charged twice for the same plan during the same billing cycle, we refund the duplicate in full. Stripe usually catches this automatically; if it didn’t, email support@usapdfsky.com with the duplicated invoice IDs.

2.2 Unauthorized or fraudulent payment

If your card was charged without your authorisation, contact us and your card issuer. We verify with Stripe and refund the unauthorised charge in full after verification, typically within 2-3 business days.

2.3 Verified technical fault on our side

If a tool you specifically paid Pro to access has been non-functional for an extended period due to a fault on our infrastructure (not a third-party outage, not your network), we refund the affected billing period on request. We verify the outage against our server logs before issuing the refund.

3. EU and UK 14-day cooling-off period

This right is granted by Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the equivalent UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Under those rules, the right to withdraw is automatically waived once you begin using the digital service — including running your first tool with Pro features active, downloading a watermark-free export, or any other action that consumes the premium service.

To exercise the right while it still applies, email support@usapdfsky.com within 14 days of payment with the subject line “EU/UK withdrawal — [your account email]”. We confirm receipt and process the refund to your original Stripe payment method within 5-10 business days.

If you have already started using the Pro features in that 14-day window, the right of withdrawal no longer applies and the default no-refund position above takes effect.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel a Monthly or Yearly plan at any time from your account page or by emailing support@usapdfsky.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not refund the current billing period — you keep access to Pro features until the period you have already paid for ends.

Example: you subscribe to Monthly on 10 May. You cancel on 18 May. You retain Pro features through 9 June. No charge on 10 June. No partial refund for the unused portion of May 10–June 9.

5. Year Pass (one-time payment)

The Year Pass is a single payment that grants 12 months of Pro access. It does not auto-renew. After 12 months your account automatically reverts to the free tier. There is nothing to cancel — and no refund for the unused portion if you stop using the service mid-year.

6. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued through Stripe back to your original payment method. The refund typically appears within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank. We do not refund to a different payment method or via bank transfer.

7. Currency and taxes

Charges are denominated in US Dollars. Your card issuer may convert the charge into your local currency at their own rate. Refunds are issued in US Dollars for the original charged amount; any currency-conversion difference at refund time is between you and your card issuer.

VAT, GST, or other indirect taxes — where collected by Stripe on our behalf for your jurisdiction — are refunded together with the base amount when a refund is issued.

8. Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or replaces consumer-protection rights that apply to you under the law of your country of residence. If your local law grants you a stronger right than this policy describes, that local right prevails.
