Does the file leave my computer?
No. The stamping runs entirely in your browser. USA Sky PDF's servers never see your PDF for this tool.
What characters can I use in headers and footers?
Latin and accented-Latin characters — the basic Latin and Latin-1 character set (U+0000–U+00FF). That covers English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish, and most other Western European languages. Non-Latin scripts like Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Cyrillic aren't supported in header and footer text yet — the tool will refuse with a clear error rather than silently dropping glyphs. We use standard Helvetica with WinAnsi encoding for now; broader Unicode support is on the roadmap.
Can I use a different header on each page?
No — the same six zones apply to every page in one pass. If you need per-page text, the editor lets you add free-floating Add Text layers wherever you want, one page at a time.
Will my existing page content be covered?
Headers sit at a small margin below the top edge and footers sit at a small margin above the bottom edge — the same place the Adobe Acrobat header/footer tool places them. If your PDF already has content right against the page edge, those zones may overlap; otherwise you're fine.
