Fill out the fields

Add a visible signature image
Where you need to sign, the tool lets you draw a signature with your mouse or trackpad, type a signature in a script font, or upload a signature image. The result is placed on the page as a visible image — it stamps the page like ink would, but it's not cryptographically signed.

Is filling and signing really free?
Yes. Free with no signup and no per-conversion limit.
Does the file leave my computer?
No. Form filling and signature stamping run entirely in your browser. USA Sky PDF's servers never see your PDF for this tool.
Is this a digital signature?
No. The tool adds a VISIBLE signature image — drawn, typed, or uploaded — to the page, but the output PDF is not cryptographically signed. There's no PKI certificate chain, no tamper-evident hash, and no public-key verification. It's the digital equivalent of signing a paper form with a pen and scanning it. For legally-binding e-signatures with audit trails, identity verification, and tamper-detection — the kind contracts and HR documents require — use DocuSign, Adobe Sign, or HelloSign.
Does this work on XFA forms?
No, only standard AcroForm. XFA (Adobe's proprietary XML-based form format) is used on many U.S. government PDFs — including most USCIS forms, several IRS forms, and various court documents. Only Adobe Acrobat Reader renders XFA fields as editable; in every other viewer, including ours, XFA fields appear as static text with no interactivity. If your form opens in Adobe Reader with editable boxes but in our tool with no fields visible, it's an XFA form — open it in Adobe Reader instead. For non-government forms (HR, finance, contracts, school enrollment), AcroForm is almost universal and our tool works.
Which form fields are supported?
Standard AcroForm field types: text inputs (single-line and multi-line), checkboxes, radio button groups (single-select), dropdowns (comboboxes), and list boxes. This covers essentially every non-XFA PDF form.
Will my filled values be locked when I save?
The fields stay interactive by default — a recipient could re-open and change them. If you want to lock filled values so nobody can edit them after you save, run /flatten-pdf on the output, which bakes everything into a flat image. (Trade-off: text becomes an image and is no longer selectable.)
